FAQ
What is Project FreePlay & how is it different?
Project FreePlay blends structured coaching, guided free play, and character development into one experience. Kids are encouraged to move, explore multiple sports, and learn life lessons like teamwork, effort, and accountability—all in a fun, pressure-free environment. We focus on developing the whole child, not just sport-specific skills.
What ages is Project FreePlay designed for, and do kids need prior experience?
Project FreePlay is designed for elementary and middle-school aged children of all ability levels (5-14). No prior experience is required—our coaches meet kids where they are and help them grow at their own pace. Beginners, multi-sport athletes, and kids still finding their confidence all thrive here.
What does a typical day at camp look like?
Each camp day (9:00am-3:00pm) includes a mix of skill instruction, free play, small-sided games, and group challenges across multiple sports.

Who are the coaches, and what is the coach-to-camper ratio?
Our coaches are background-checked, positive role models with experience working with youth and a passion for teaching beyond the scoreboard. We maintain lower than a 12:1 coach-to-camper ratio to ensure personal attention, safety, and strong relationships. Coaches are trained to lead with encouragement, structure, and care.
How do you ensure my child’s safety during camp?
Safety is a top priority. Camps are staffed with trained adults, clear supervision protocols, and age-appropriate groupings. We emphasize smart play, respect for others, hydration, and injury awareness, and we are prepared to respond quickly if a child needs assistance. Coaches have cleared background checks and a trained medical professional will be on site every day. Â
What should my child bring each day?
Campers should arrive in athletic clothes and sneakers, with a water bottle, lunch, and any required personal items. We recommend hats and sun protection for outdoor activities. All sport equipment is provided unless otherwise noted.
What is your refund or cancellation policy?
We understand plans can change. Our refund and transfer policies are designed to be fair and family-friendly, with options outlined clearly during registration. Our goal is to remove stress, not add it.
How will parents receive updates or important announcements?
Parents receive clear, timely communication via email and/or text for important updates such as schedules, reminders, and weather-related changes. We strive to keep families informed without overwhelming them. You’ll always know what’s happening and when.
